What small town in the USA is very gloomy?
I am in the process of writing a book. My character lives with her father in a gloomy, almost always overcasted, very rainy small town in the USA. It is a book with a location that i have not yet decided. If you have any ideas please give me a city and state that suit the description above. Rhoad Island in general. Danvers, Ma. It always seems to be overcast even on sunny days. Plus we had the Danvers State Hospital (Asylum).

Forks, Washington and I don’t just know that from reading Twilight! I actually live about an hour away from there in Port Angeles where part of Twilight takes place! Stephanie Meyer was actually here last week eating at Bella Italia (its only called La Bella Italia in the book)! I was like 2 blocks away from there!
